Description

Improvement of sustainable management of forest resources contributes to poverty reduction, economic growth and environmental protection. In the overall context of UN Sustainable Energy for all (SE4A) and more specifically the low carbon strategy 2050 of Rwanda, and considering growing woody biomass demand due to urbanisation, population and income growth; Belgium joins the effort of GoR in securing energy for all Rwandans, in reducing the supply-demand gap and in sustaining supply potential of woody biomass.
